Quick Overview:

• Traffic counter download, configuration, and report software for Windows (16-bit). Program communicated with traffic controller board via serial port and custom protocol. Allowed downloading data with checksums. And GUI display and error checking of critical data. Data downloaded could be viewed in the program or printed in various reports.
• Converted a DOS program written in Turbo Pascal code into a Windows program with Visual C++ code.
• Serial communications library for Linux/UNIX. Simplifies accessing the communications ports in Linux for use with another program.
• Server monitor program for Linux. Watches servers via TCP and ICMP. Sends a message via modem to a pager on when a server problem occurs.
• Microprocessor/controller board calibration software for Windows (32-bit). Multi-threaded application that reads the status of a microprocessor via the serial port of a PC and a custom protocol and displays a dialog with controls that change in real-time showing the status of the controller boards I/O and allowing to change some settings on the controller board.
